Find recommendations, follow games, and understand when each game is available to play.
Start on the homepage#
The player.gg homepage is a great place to find your next game. It brings together featured games, new additions, community recommendations, playtests, and games you can play right away.
You can also discover games through reviews, stories, and collections published by player.gg curators. If you are subscribed to player.gg emails, you will receive a weekly selection of recommendations and newly available playtests.
Find more from your favorite teams and curators#
Search and browse games by developer or publisher to explore more titles from a team you like.
For community recommendations, open Curators in the main navigation. Select Reviews to browse recent game reviews, or Posts for stories and recommendations. Popular posts also appear below curator posts when you’re ready for your next read.
Staff picks and community favorites#
Featured games are selected by the player.gg team, but most discovery is shaped by the community. Curators recommend games through their posts and collections, while games attracting more player interest and signups can rise into Trending.
Follow games you care about#
Follow a game to hear when something important changes or a new playtest opens. This is useful when a game interests you but is not ready to accept testers yet.
Understand game availability#
Games on player.gg can be at different stages. The label on a game tells you what you can do next.
Regular games#
A regular game page helps you learn about the game, see where it is available, and find recommendations or community content. It may not currently have a player.gg playtest or waitlist.
On Waitlist#
A waitlist means the game has been announced and the studio is collecting interest, but it may not be playtesting soon. Join the waitlist and follow the game so you can hear when access opens.
Playtesting now#
The studio is currently recruiting players or running a test. Open the game’s Playtest tab to view the available details and request access.
Early Access#
Early Access games can be played right away by getting the game through its listed store. You can still follow the game and join its community to share feedback and hear about future updates.
