How do I become a curator?

What curators do#

Curators help other players find games worth their time. They share personal recommendations and stories through posts, reviews, Game Collections, and Curated Pages.

Becoming a curator gives you a public player.gg profile with your own username. Players can follow your work, subscribe to your updates, and discover the games you recommend.

Before you apply#

We review every application because we want player.gg to remain a welcoming place with thoughtful, useful contributions.

You should apply if you have a point of view about games and want to share it with other players. You do not need to cover every kind of game—tell us who you are, what you play, and what you would like to contribute.

Apply to become a curator#

1. Sign in to your player.gg account.
2. Open the curator application.
3. Tell us about yourself, the games you play, and the kind of work you want to share.
4. Submit your application for review.

If your application is approved, you will get access to claim a username and set up your public profile.

Publications#

Every curator starts with a personal profile where they can publish posts and reviews and create Game Collections and Curated Pages.

Curators can also start a branded publication with collaborators, subscribers, and content analytics. Existing publications that want to bring their audience to player.gg can apply too. Partner Publications can offer paid subscriptions and community benefits. Learn more on the Become a curator page.
