SCP Fragmented Minds Review

SCP: Fragmented Minds

You arrive at Mars Site-113, a decaying monument to the SCP Foundation's ambition—and its failures. Once the most secure facility, now a cradle of horrors calling you to uncover its secrets. Face relentless anomalies, humanity's darkest truths, and a mission that demands survival above all else.

I'm recommending this but I did have a lot of problems with the game. First off the story and everything they have added to the game is awesome especially when you are an SCP fan.

The first chapter falls short though and is honestly kinda boring and as the start of a big SCP game they only give you mutated chickens. Apart from that it's just constant random rooms you need to traverse and that's honestly it.

The second chapter is where everything gets so much better, more story (especially just random notes on SCPs) and some of my personal favourites added in. SCP 096 is done perfectly and same with SCP 049 though unfortunately I was soft locked out of the SCP 049 storyline because saving the game and coming back to it closed a door that continues the quest. I should also mention that after that point in the game there were an insane amount of bugs and glitches that ruined the last hour of play for me (might have been a bad update in between my play sessions). Apart from that last part the second chapter is seriously where it becomes a SCP game and I can't wait for the 3rd chapter.

The game overall is decent but there are mechanics in the game that seriously don't need to be there, if they are meant to be implemented more in future chapters it doesn't make sense to have them in earlier. The crafting system is useless, you basically just upgrade what you get given once and thats maybe 2 items with no need to repair weapons at all (at least in my experience). There also seems to be a money mechanic which I didn't find any at all so I'm either blind or they just have that mechanic.

I very much look forward to future chapters and hope the devs continue to do a fantastic job! Also I just loved finding/reading about those random SCPs that just objects that either do something interesting or is completely useless, keep adding those in please.
