Ferocious Review — Szamer

The dinosaurs are the best part of this game, everything else is riddled with bugs from game breaking to just annoying. Possibly worth it on a heavy sale but still maybe not. The first chapter is also incredibly bad and boring BUT once you get further in it gets so much better and more to what the game promotes itself.

Pros:

Dinosaurs, almost everything about them is really well done from animation to habits
The graphics are breathtaking in a lot of areas
Interacting with the Dinosaurs is incredibly fun... when it works

Cons:

Gunplay is horrible, when the bullets actually hit the reaction and damage is really well done
Game promotes being able to ride dinosaurs especially in the trailers but I played those sections and I couldn't interact with them
Story is meh and generic and the side stuff across the map is pointless
The first chapter, the chapter where you need to pull in the players barely shows anything of the actual game and in incredibly bland and takes 1-2 hours to get through
A lot of general bugs and glitches across the board
Why do you need to buy guns and bullets when youve killed everyone and taken over the camps?

This game could be amazing and very close to something like Far Cry but there is a long way to go.

The devs have reached out since my review and fixed a bunch of issues but I haven't gone back to check it out.
