Call of the Elder Gods Review

An excellent sequel to Call of the Sea with added story mechanics, better visuals and some tough puzzles to push you toward the hints tab. Like their previous game I just loved the story and the visuals, the devs really nailed all of it in this game. I'm very mixed with the puzzles, some were interesting and built upon the world while others you needed brute force or a lot of walking around.

Pros:

• Amazing visuals, better then the prequel but locations weren't as good to look at as the prequel
• Story was thoroughly interesting and I kept wanting to learn more
• I loved that they added the 2 playable characters and the interaction, it felt a step up from the previous game
• Voice acting was perfect
• The hints tabs was very useful
• I love how the story all tied in in the end, it was a very satisfying ending

Cons:

• No collectables in this game
• A couple journal notes gave me the wrong idea about how to do the puzzles
• There is a delay when you pick up the note to the person commenting on it which kept throwing me off
• Needing to brute force some puzzles was annoying
