TCG Card Shop SimulatorReally enjoyed it
TCG Card Shop Simulator has an addictive management loop, satisfying store progression and a strong collectible card theme. Version 1.0 adds meaningful content with Tetramon Duel Master, but slow progression, repetitive late-game systems and weak onboarding hold it back. It is still a solid choice for players who enjoy management games and TCG culture.

    HolonopticReally enjoyed it
Holonoptic is a distinctive management RPG with strong writing, deep systems and meaningful choices. Its mix of corporate management, psychological mechanics and narrative gives it a clear identity, while the different paths and endings add solid replayability. The main weaknesses are its demanding UI, heavy micromanagement and some technical rough edges, but overall it is a thoughtful and ambitious game that stands out within the genre.

    Marvel's WolverineA favorite!
For accessibility, I give Marvel’s Wolverine a 9 out of 10. The missing point reflects the bugs and inconsistent moments, but the overall achievement is extraordinary. Insomniac gave me the tools and confidence to complete a game on its highest difficulty for the first time. More importantly, it made me feel like a total badass Wolverine while doing it.

Honeycomb: The World BeyondReally enjoyed it
Honeycomb: The World Beyond stands out through its bioengineering systems, rewarding exploration and the distinctive world of Sota7. Base building and scientific research fit naturally into the survival loop, while the PC version performed well during our time with it. Its slow pace, repetitive resource gathering and limited replayability may not suit everyone, but overall it offers a thoughtful and distinctive survival experience.

Onimusha: Way of the SwordReally enjoyed it
Onimusha: Way of the Sword is a strong return for the series, driven by excellent sword combat, memorable boss fights, a great atmosphere, and a compelling take on Miyamoto Musashi. Some repetition and weaker pacing in the final third hold it back, but the core combat remains satisfying throughout.

    Mina the HollowerA favorite!
Mina the Hollower is stuffed to the brim with ways to play and worldbuilding. My review won’t go into all the details, but I hope I have at least given you enough to try it out. Mina is a must-play game for me. Combining the retro style of gameplay, music, and graphics with all the quality-of-life improvements from games of today makes for a truly unforgettable experience.

Resonance: A Plague Tale LegacyReally enjoyed it
For accessibility, I give RESONANCE: A Plague Tale Legacy a 7/10. It loses points for limited accessibility for blind players, but the features that are present do a decent job. Most importantly, its colour adjustment system demonstrates a genuinely useful approach that more games should consider.

The Blood of DawnwalkerReally enjoyed it
A strong story-driven RPG with meaningful choices, memorable characters and an excellent time-management system that gives real weight to your decisions. Vale Sangora is dense and atmospheric, and the day/night mechanics add personality to exploration. Limited enemy variety, repetitive combat and some technical issues on PC keep it from reaching the top tier.

Resonance: A Plague Tale LegacyReally enjoyed it
Resonance takes A Plague Tale in a bold new direction, replacing the rat hordes with satisfying melee combat, light-based puzzles and rewarding exploration. Sophia carries the leading role well, while the connection between Greek mythology and the Prima Macula expands the series’ lore in meaningful ways. Its repetitive puzzle design, automatic targeting and weaker final act hold it back, but the impressive visuals, strong atmosphere and excellent soundtrack make it a worthwhile addition to the series.

    JusantReally enjoyed it
It's Jusant, but you're controlling every limb of the climber. Right foot, Left foot, right hand, left hand. It's incredibly engaging, (at times) tense, and very technical that I wasn't expecting to wholly enjoy. Sat more upright in my chair than any other game I've played in the past two years. Pretty to look at and great to listen to as well - can't imagine the voicework this girl had to go through to audibly indicate your stamina at any given time. Also more interesting lore than Jusant. Chalk-gripped seven.

If Into The Breach bred itself with the RNG of Binding of Isaac, adopted some light XCOM & Final Fantasy Tactics elements to make a wholly unique roguelike that's filled with "one more run" thoughts. Must admit, I am biased since I've logged hundreds of hours in to McMillen's previous game Binding Of Isaac...I knew this game would be a layup for me. Really enjoy each run, even though you will essentially "retire" your cats after a full run for the sole purpose of breeding them for stats. My game log says I'm 20% complete at 20 hours. This game has a long tail that I'll play for a long time.

    Cyberpunk 2077Really enjoyed it
Very fun. I think the skill tree is the best aspect of this game since it allows for some very interesting Min/Maxing - like my character is pretty much entirely invested in the "Cool" attributes with a heavy focus on throwing knives and slowing down time with pistols to shoot grenades out of the air. I get giddy running up to mobs with my lil throwing knife in hand. They should really have called this game "throwing knife game" because I think that's just what I like the most about it. Everything else about it is fine, I suppose.

It's "Slot Machine Balatro" with the vibes of Buckshot Roulette and INSCRYPTION. I'm a sucker for any number-go-up game out there and this one is no exception. There's a bit more to it than that since it has some more meta story elements - but if you come in here looking for that, I'd direct you instead to Inscryption. If you've already played Buckshot Roulette, I think you already get what this is going for. If you've already played Balatro, I still think that's a better game (unless your gambling preferences are slot-machine based rather than poker-based). Other games do this better. Light 4

If Shogun Showdown were played in real time. This is a roguelike where the gimmick of each individual battle is that you have the ability to "forsee" how it will play out. You can practice the battle as many times as you need to perfect your gameplan for when you decide to go at it for real. Every battle will play out the same depending on your actions. I really enjoyed this gimmick because each battle doesn't really feel like a fight - it feels like a puzzle that can be solved, but only if you can replicate it the way you need it to. There's a story in this too but it's boring. Strong 6.

    STAR WARS Zero Company™Disappointed
Star Wars Zero Company is a really fun game with an intriguing story and enjoyable tactical gameplay. Its Star Wars setting makes the XCOM-like formula more inviting, and I want to continue playing to see how the story and strategy develop. Unfortunately, I cannot fully recommend it for disabled players. Bit Reactor did try, but there are unfortunately too many missing features. For players who are new to the XCOM genre, Star Wars Zero Company could be a great place to begin. For many disabled players, however, the limited accessibility may prevent them from joining the company.

If Sonic (or, better yet, HASTE) were a tech deck simulator, but the tech deck was a subway train doing Tony Hawk tricks in post-apocalyptic Japan, saturated with cotton candy and killer music. This game is almost exactly what I wished Haste was. This game is chaos in the best way -- this game has no fear about it's ridiculous concept and takes it to immensely satisfying extremes. It has undoubtedly the best soundtrack of the year. Absolutely unmatched. This game is a core concept executed to perfection. Soft 9.

    Returnal™Really enjoyed it
3rd Person bullet hell that takes the ambience from Metroid Prime and smashes it with the mechanics of Enter the Gungeon & Sektori. It does ask quite a bit of you mechanically - you'll need to balance your ability to run n' gun with your ability to perceive attacks, dodge bullets, jump and dash over slow-moving rings that deal damage, all while managing "parasites" that provide a boon & burden simultaneously, weapon alt-fire cooldowns, and whether or not you think the side paths are worth the trouble (they almost always are). It feels like an arcade game. It's alien and isolating. Strong 8.

    007 First LightReally enjoyed it
A fast-paced & campy Hitman with enjoyable combat and a lenience to give the player the James Bond fantasy. This is the definitive James Bond game to date. It has the spying, the eavesdropping, gathering intel, big conspiracy story, and gadgets to boot. It's able to do those things -- I wouldn't say EXCEPTIONALLY well, but just good enough to afford a very enjoyable gaming experience. It's a popcorn game. I'm rating it a little bit high for what it is - ultimately this is a game that does things in the good-to-great range, stays true to its genre, and sees a vision through. Perfect 8 to soft 9

Roguelike where you use the arrow keys to move on a small grid to defeat enemies. This game markets as a bullet-paced game where you'll navigate a small avatar over a grid to knock out enemies, trying to avoid traps and causing chaos along the way. But. That's really about it. It all feels a little useless and a little more "look how fast I can move". Not really anticipating coming back to this. I do appreciate the different art styles though. Soft 3

    Agent 64: Spies Never DieMixed
A well-done replica of N64-style shooters, specifically, Goldeneye. For better or worse, this game takes the structure, gunplay, and mission structure of the N64 era shooter and - while it doesn't put it in a new light or gives it anything to say that's remarkably different - brings it to 2026 in all of its glory. it's a fun oddity and it's nice that it's accessible in a modern way. But the adults in the room have played this. And I'm not sure the kids will feel as favorably to it as we were in the day. Soft 6.

    Halo: Campaign EvolvedDisappointed
At best, it's an optimistic statement that Halo Studios is willing to re-trace Bungie's footsteps, taking old lessons and reframing them in a new lens for whatever might be next in the franchise. But after completing the game, I'm not convinced that you couldn't give Activision, Blizzard, iD, Infinity Ward, heck, Santa Monica Studios the same blueprint and miss something from those studios that HS was able to capture here. A slightly better gameplay experience, surrounded by shoulder-shrugs. I suppose for PS fans who have never played, you have a definitive version here.
