    Halo: Campaign EvolvedDisappointed
    At best, it's an optimistic statement that Halo Studios is willing to re-trace Bungie's footsteps, taking old lessons and reframing them in a new lens for whatever might be next in the franchise. But after completing the game, I'm not convinced that you couldn't give Activision, Blizzard, iD, Infinity Ward, heck, Santa Monica Studios the same blueprint and miss something from those studios that HS was able to capture here. A slightly better gameplay experience, surrounded by shoulder-shrugs. I suppose for PS fans who have never played, you have a definitive version here.

    Mortal Shell IIDisappointed
    There are some interesting ideas in Mortal Shell 2. I really like the second chance mechanic, and I think it adds a smart layer of approachability to the Soulslike formula. It gives players a bit more room to learn and recover without removing the challenge. But from an accessibility standpoint, the game needs more work. There’s potential here. With a little more accessibility support, Mortal Shell 2 could be much more playable for disabled players while still keeping the challenge that Soulslike fans enjoy.

    The Sinking City 2Really enjoyed it
    The Sinking City 2 confidently shifts the series toward survival horror, combining a deeply atmospheric Lovecraftian Arkham with rewarding exploration, clever puzzles and much stronger combat. Resource management and enemy weak points keep encounters engaging, while excellent sound design constantly reinforces the tension. Its reduced detective depth, uneven bosses and a few narrative weaknesses hold it back, but Frogwares’ new direction ultimately works very well.

    The House of the Dead 2Really enjoyed it
    Just played through this for Arcade Economy and while it did eat a LOT of my quarters, this game still looks great and is a blast to play. I may be too old to hit all the targets as I did find this one a little harder than the original.

    Pure adrenaline! Crouching in a room praying the roof holds while multi-tornadoes rage outside is unforgettable. Incredible sound design and visual scale (that F5 monster!). Absolute blast in multiplayer with the squad.

    Yet Another Zombie Survivors takes a familiar formula and gives it a smart twist with a three-character squad system that creates meaningful synergies and constant build experimentation. Distinct survivors, permanent progression, multiple modes and increasingly chaotic combat make it dangerously easy to start one more run. Limited map variety and some uneven build balance become noticeable over time, but this remains a polished, accessible and highly entertaining survivors-like.

The story mode is surprisingly deep and emotional, while the co-op experience brings endless chaos. Deductions only for the steep learning curve at the start, which can be punishing for newcomers.     Playing since Alpha 15 with over 9,000 hours logged...this remains the ultimate survival game! The mix of open-world crafting, base building, and the constant pressure of blood moon hordes is unmatched. Whether solo or co-op with the squad, the gameplay loop is super addictive. Deduction only for performance hiccups in late-game horde nights and a missing storyline. Then there’s the incredibly brilliant modding community behind it and for that reason alone, this game will never get boring for me! Still the absolute king of the genre!

    Mortal Shell 2 is the evolution the series needed, expanding the original with faster combat, eight genuinely distinct Shells, deep build customization and a dense world that constantly rewards exploration. Its atmosphere and heavy-metal-inspired identity give it plenty of character, while New Game+ and varied builds add strong replay value. Navigation, uneven balance and several technical issues still need work, but they never overshadow an ambitious and highly enjoyable Soulslike.

    Supermassive is back after about a little over a year and a half break with their next big game. Directive 8020 felt like a welcome change in direction with the Sci-Fi Story. However with as much as i love the journey i had in the story, it is very bogged down by dreadful Stealth sections.

    This game is a nice and tight 3 hour experience that you may want to experience time and time again. It has an absolutely killer soundtrack, fun and light gameplay sequences, and emotional beats that will may hit you harder than you expected. I really loved the characters of Stacey and Slater, but i really just couldn’t find much about the third friend, Cass, that i enjoyed. I felt her part of the story fell flat for me and the choices that she made angered me more than anything else. Overall i think the game is a solid time and i think even the non-gamers out there will enjoy this thoroughly.

    Enter the Chronosphere stands out by turning bullet-hell combat into a tactical puzzle where time only moves when you do. Its mix of roguelike progression, varied weapons, distinct characters and flexible builds makes every run feel different, while the combat can shift naturally between careful planning and near real-time action. Balance, accessibility and a few technical issues still need work, but even in Early Access it already feels remarkably complete and distinctive.
