About This Game

Your year in Paris is spent planning a series of parties and then hosting them in real-time. Your aim is to earn a glowing write-up in the gossip columns!

You arrive to an empty house but all the ingredients of a legendary dinner are on your doorstep. The boutiques and markets of Paris will furnish you with pictures, books, even rare antiques. You will choose the menu and most important of all, the guest list.

While you’re new in town, you won’t have many people to choose from but, as your guests introduce you to their friends, you can become more discerning. Each character has their own traits and a unique role that can be triggered at parties.

Guests will admire your decor and offer up pearls of wisdom in conversation. Each time they speak, they express one of their traits, some good, some less so! You can boost the effects by serving food and steer the conversation by serving drinks.

Each character is a unique challenge. Shop till you drop with Schiaparelli; wait for the sales with Orwell. Bigger tables mean more guests; a comfy sofa keeps the party going. Tired already? Accept an invitation from one of your new friends. You'll return refreshed and rewarded!
