About This Game
It was supposed to be just another job. Then the well started filling up.
Barrow Bros is a physics-based co-op adventure for two. Grab a friend — one of you pushes, one of you steers — and race to the top of a collapsing well before the rising water swallows you both. Miscommunicate for even a second, and you'll both be finding out the hard way.
One pushes. One steers.
Player One controls movement, jumps, dashes, and can drop glowing markers to remember the path through the dark. Player Two steers the wheelbarrow, wields a flashlight to light the way, and swings a shovel to fend off whatever's down here. Success means constantly talking to each other — or constantly yelling, whichever comes first.
The water never stops.
There's no pausing the rise. Every wrong turn, every wasted second in a dead-end cave costs you — and the water doesn't care how lost you are. Find the right path or watch it close in behind you.
Descend through rooms that want you dead.
Every run takes you through a different gauntlet of underground rooms — a lava chamber guarded by a rock monster hurling boulders at your head, a mine field where one wrong step ends the run, a maze crawling with crocodiles, and caves haunted by something watching your every move. Learn the rooms, or don't survive them.
Wrong turn? Start losing.
The caves branch constantly, and only some paths lead up. Guess wrong and you'll waste precious time backtracking while the water keeps climbing — communication and memory are just as important as reflexes.
Solo or co-op.
Play local or online co-op and split the roles with a friend, or go it alone and juggle both jobs yourself if you think you're up to it.
Make them yours.
Before you head back down, customize your worker — reshape their body, arms, stomach, legs, and head, swap head styles, and recolor everything. Whether you want your co-op partner to look like a tank or a noodle, the well doesn't care how ridiculous you look going under.
