TAKE THAT MAINSTAGE! - The Ultimate Wannabe Rockstar Life Sim!
Part life sim, management, crafting ✍️ & rhythm 🎵. Recruit a band, manage relationships, find inspiration to craft REAL songs to perform 🎤and become the next big thing! Part strategy, part cozy, all rock! 🎸
FROM ZERO TO GUITAR HERO
Emerald City, 1992. The music revolution is exploding, and you’re stuck in a dirty room with a cheap guitar and a dream. Take That Mainstage! is a deep, genre-bending life sim where your social life is just as loud as your amp. In a city where everyone is looking for the next big thing, will you be a flash in the pan or a voice for a generation?
WIN THE CROWD, CRUSH YOUR RIVALS
Battling other Bands isn't just about playing the right notes - it's about psychological warfare. Read the room and adjust your setlist on the fly to match the audience’s mood. While your rivals are on stage, don't just sit back: mingle with the fans, tune your gear, or swap out your stage decorations to steal the spotlight. In the quest for the top spot, there are no participation trophies.
LIVE THE GRIND, CHASE THE VIBE
Every day is a balancing act. Kick off by designing your rocker and choosing your music style. Then tune into the radio to scout the scene, manage your gear, and sharpen your skills. Explore a living, breathing city where every playthrough features a procedurally generated cast of musicians, fans, and foes. Busk for rent money, catch a cult classic at the cinema, or recruit the perfect drummer. Do you want to be a technical wizard, a charismatic stage god, or a studio recluse? Your path to stardom is yours to write—just don’t forget to sleep.
MASTER YOUR CRAFT
Do you want to be a technical wizard, a charismatic stage god, or a studio recluse? The choice is yours. Grind your skills through interactive practice sessions, earn cash to buy new gear, and hunt down rare sheet music to unlock complex chords. Whether you’re perfecting your stage presence or mastering the mixing board, your growth determines your legacy.
WEAPONIZE YOUR CONVERSATIONS
In Emerald City, talk isn't cheap—it's inspiration. Engage in high-stakes "Conversation Battles" to extract secrets, moods, and thoughts from the city’s NPCs. Every character maintains a dynamic diary based on their unique personality; win the argument, and you win their truth. These secrets aren't just gossip—they are the raw lyrical fuel for your next platinum record.
THE DRAG-AND-DROP ANTHEM CREATOR
Write real music with a powerful, intuitive drag-and-drop song crafter. Mix genres, select your gear, and weave the inspirations you’ve gathered from the streets into your lyrics. Follow the trends to make a quick buck, or defy the status quo to start a movement. Once the track is finished, it’s time to take it to the stage and see if the crowd bites.
BACKSTAGE ACCESS: KEY FEATURES
A Living 90's Ecosystem: Experience a procedurally generated city. No two playthroughs feature the same rivals, bandmates, or heartbreakers.
Deep Life Management: Balance your creativity, talent, band, and relationships. Every hour counts when you’re choosing between rehearsal and a nap.
The Lyric Notebook: Turn NPC secrets into song lyrics. The more you know about the city’s inhabitants, the more powerful your songs become.
Fully Modular Songwriting: Don't just "click to write." Use the Drag-and-Drop Song Crafter to create your bands entire discography.
The "Battle of the Bands": It’s not just a rhythm game. You’ll need to scout your rivals, sabotage their hype, and customize your stage setup to win over specific subcultures. And, you'll play the actual songs you wrote!
Gear & Growth: Collect vintage 90s-inspired guitars, amps, and pedals. Level up your charisma, talent, and songwriting to unlock your path to the Mainstage!
