Obscurium
A roguelike deckbuilder set in a darker Brazil. Hunt the creatures of Brazilian folklore on a four-lane ritual board, sacrifice your own cards to summon, and seal each soul into your grimoire.
Strategy
There are worse things than dying. Some of them offer a second chance.
Obscurium is a roguelike deckbuilder set in a Brazil you have never been shown, a darker one. Hunt the creatures the stories warn about: the Pisadeira, who sits on the chest of anyone who falls asleep on a full stomach. The Capelobo, part man and part anteater, who opens a skull to drink what is inside. The Caboclo d'Água, who tips your canoe on the river and waits underneath.
Lay a card in one of four lanes and the creature answers with one of its own. Every summon is paid for with a card already on the table, so every strong play opens a hole somewhere else on your line. Land enough hits to light all ten Sealing Runes, and the creature's soul is sealed into your grimoire for good.
Lose and you lose the deck. The grimoire stays, and you go again knowing more than last time.
Obscurium is in closed playtest right now. New builds open in waves, and what you tell us shapes what the game becomes.
