About This Game

End of Eden is a love letter to the first two Gothic games. You will explore the mysterious island of Eden, a place of strange anomalies and wild beasts waiting for lost wanderers.

To survive you must earn your place in one of three island guilds. They do not recruit just anyone, so you will prove yourself first. Do not count on help. On this island everyone looks out for their own survival.

• A living world
  NPCs and creatures follow day and night routines. They live their own lives without waiting for you. Even without your presence the world would function just fine.

• From nobody to threat
  At first you must take great care in every fight. As you complete quests and defeat tougher enemies, you become the danger.

• Guilds
  Join one of three atmospheric guilds. Each has its own values and rules, and each teaches different talents that shape your build and story path.

• Deep character growth
  Talents for melee, ranged and magic are only the start. You also learn crafting, resource gathering and unique character perks that open new options.

• Dynamic combat
  Victory depends on reflexes and knowing your foes. Use a broad arsenal of weapons and spells to control distance, punish mistakes and survive.

• Meaningful quests
  Many quests have more than one outcome with different rewards. Those rewards are often of similar value, so you can choose the resolution that fits your playstyle instead of chasing a single best answer.
