Story

An unknown virus has broken out on the Valdis space research station, turning the crew into mindless zombies. By a stroke of luck, you—the protagonist—have avoided infection. But there's no time to celebrate; the zombies are overtaking the station, and only you can stop them. Your sole chance of survival lies in defending the energy cores—the last power source keeping the station from destruction. Fortunately, you're not alone. You have access to a powerful arsenal of defensive turrets, each capable of reducing enemies to ashes. Use and combine them wisely to halt the impending nightmare.

Gameplay

VALDIS offers an explosive mix of tower defense and third-person shooter genres, delivering dynamic and strategic gameplay. Defend the energy core against increasing hordes of diverse zombies: from ordinary brain-eaters to kamikazes and invisible foes. Utilize various turret types—blaster, laser, mortar, and more. Strategically combine them to obliterate the undead! If the defense falters and zombies break through, you always have a last resort—a powerful shotgun ready to eliminate any who dare approach.

Elements

All turrets possess one of four elements: fire, ice, lightning, or water. Each hit imbues enemies with its element, causing unique effects: ice charges freeze zombies, slowing them down, while lightning bolts arc through crowds, striking multiple foes. But that's not all! Elements can interact, creating even more devastating reactions. Combine fire and lightning to turn a zombie into a living bomb, exploding and engulfing everything nearby in flames. Experiment with elemental and turret combinations to efficiently dispatch enemies.
