In Lysward, you awaken as Kiran, a fugitive experiment with no memory beyond a single name: Orren. Stranded in a desert where the sun never sets, survival means mastering both the relentless environment and the secrets buried within it. But don’t worry: survival isn't a path you'll walk alone.

Umbra is a tidally locked world split between perpetual daylight and eternal darkness. Your story unfolds on Zenit, where the sun always shines, and its light generates Amri, a potent magical resource that empowers you. 

You must navigate this treacherous desert where the sun’s relentless heat can defeat you quickly. Manage your hunger and thirst, and learn how to avoid overheating.

Survival in Lysward depends on your resourcefulness. Scavenge for resources, craft vital tools and equipment, and carefully manage your inventory, with items of varying sizes and shapes. Every decision counts in this unforgiving environment.

The energy flowing through your Amri device is more than just a tool—it’s the key to your survival. Master its power to overcome the challenges of this unforgiving world. Whether you’re facing scorching heat, treacherous terrain, or mysterious foes, the Amri magic will be your greatest ally. But beware: only those who truly understand its potential will thrive. 

Your first ability, Tremor, lets you shatter boulders, collect resources from a distance, and deal with dangerous creatures.



If you rise to the challenge and unlock the secrets of the Amri, good things will be at the wave of your hand. 

Your second ability is one of life: Grow trees for crucial resources and purify contaminated water.

You won’t face the desert alone. At your side is Gjorna, your mentor and companion, and just as lost in some ways as you. Like you, she’s searching for answers and a way out. Together, you’ll battle the unforgiving desert and uncover the hidden truths buried beneath its endless sands. With her expertise, you can research the items you find together to develop new crafting recipes and upgrades.

The desert is alive with strange creatures roaming the sands. Some are friendly, offering resources, while others will attack. Learn their behaviors and adapt your strategies to survive encounters with the desert’s inhabitants.
