Tape Us Out is an asymmetric, online co-op puzzle game. Players are sucked into a VHS tape and must face challenges of logic, coordination, and communication within the universe of old movies to find their way back to reality.
It all begins when two friends, passionate about antiques, stumble upon a garage sale. Curious, they explore the place in search of relics until they come across a box full of VHS tapes. Among familiar and worn-out titles, one tape stands out: Tape Us Out — a name neither of them had ever heard before.
Excited, they decide to have a surprise movie session that afternoon. Little did they know that by pressing play, they were about to dive into something far beyond a simple film…
In the blink of an eye, the two are pulled into the TV.
Now trapped, they must journey through worlds inspired by different cinematic genres: from epic high-fantasy adventures, to the tension of a crime thriller where every second counts to defuse a bomb, and even the horror of being hunted by a monster.

Two players, each with their own unique perspective.
Mandatory online cooperative experience.
Environments based on six films from distinct genres.
Immersive narrative with a nostalgic VHS-inspired aesthetic.
Gameplay focused on communication and coordination between players.
No maps, hints, or in-game tutorials — everything depends on cooperation.

You have no maps. No hints.
All you have is each other’s mind — and your voices.
Don’t forget: the only way out is by working together.
