Sol Mates is a roguelike co-op adventure for up to 4 players to play locally or online. Team up, blast through space hazards, and tackle ever-changing missions. One wrong move could land you face-to-face with a giant alien crab!

With Great Chaos, Comes Great Responsibility

Between loading guns, steering your ship, operating your shields, charging batteries, putting out fires and more, everyone’s gonna have to pull their own weight for your ship to stay in one piece and to complete your missions.

Decisions Decisions Decisions…

Vote on decisions big and small; you'll determine how the story unfolds. A wrecked ship lies in a volatile minefield. Do you risk it for the biscuit? If it all goes sideways, try a new path on your next run!

Turn Up The Heat

Think you and your mates got what it takes to take on greater challenges? Swing by the Space Bar to dial up the difficulty and test your crew’s skills. Add tougher enemies, wilder hazards, and unpredictable twists for a challenge worthy of the galaxy’s bravest (or most reckless) pilots.

Level Up Your Loadout (and Your Look)

The more you play, the more you unlock! New weapons, ammo types, ships, and cosmetics galore. Upgrade your gear and deck yourself out in stylish hats that won’t improve your skills… but will absolutely make you look like they do.

The Sol Mates Origin Story

Couch Co-Op is the genre of our childhoods! Well - for those of you who grew up in the 90's  We wanted to make a game for you to invite your friends to come over and navigate the perils of space together. “Shields are down!” “Get to the guns!” we want players to live out those epic sci-fi movie moments we grew up with but together on the couch…or online! 

Key Features:

  • Customize: Pick your color! Pick your hat! Pick your species(!?)

  • Upgrade: Shop on your journey; bigger shields, freezing ammo, tractor beams, oh my!

  • Vote: For decisions big and small, consult your crewmates and choose your adventure!

  • Juice: For veteran Sol Mates, juice up the challenge with additional difficulty to unlock more swag!
