You can help Cairn win GOTY!
Hi climbers, Awards season is upon us, and we're incredibly excited for one of the first nominations for Cairn, in the Golden Joysticks Awards! We are nominated for Best Indie…

Every time I got to a base on the mountain where I could walk a little and set up camp, I’d take a look back at the distance and remember what it took to get up there. The fact that a video g…

Saying you've "finished" or "beat" a game these days is a loaded statement. Sometimes it's not even enough to "platinum" a game. So here are the games I've done a version of all that with, including rolling credits in 2026.
Added The Legend of Heroes: Trails beyond the Horizon, Big Hops Together, Cairn and 16 more

The Game Bakers is a indie studio we should be watching. While Haven flew under the radar a few years ago Cairn has put them on the map as a must play studio. The game's mechanics and way it tells the story through the climb is so unique. It lands with a punch that i never saw coming.

Must play games that have released in 2026 and ive played
Added Cairn, Bonnie Bear Saves Frogtime, LEGO® Batman™: Legacy of the Dark Knight and 2 more

I cooled on this by the end but the climb was so good I need people to see it.

Games from 2026 you should play
Added Dogpile, Slay the Spire 2, Cairn and 8 more

The closest I've come to experiencing summit fever in real life. This was not a game I expected to consume me as much as it did: I typically don't enjoy games where you have to manually control a character limb by limb. But, somehow, it works in this title, allowing you to feel every success -- and set-back -- more keenly with Aava, the protagonist. It's a grueling, emotional journey where the challenge is the point, and I loved this experience for it.

So many games, so little time! If you're looking for indies to play, the ones on this list are top notch experiences that I've played and would highly recommend!
Added Titanium Court, Cairn, Hermit and Pig and 3 more
