About This Game

Railway Depot: Operations & Empire is a railway operations and management simulation focused on the systems behind the trains.

You are not only responsible for moving rolling stock. You must keep an entire depot working.

Inspect and prepare trains, assign routes, manage departures, coordinate staff, monitor service conditions, and respond to operational problems as they develop throughout the day.

Every decision affects the flow of the network. A delayed inspection, an occupied route, or an unavailable train can quickly disrupt the next service.

  Organize train movements, staging positions and departure readiness.

• Inspection & Maintenance
  Check rolling stock before service and keep vehicles available for operation.

  Balance different train types, priorities and operational requirements.

• Operations Staff
  Coordinate staff working across the depot and control office.

• Real-time 3D Railway Environment
  Move between the operations interface, depot, train interiors and working areas.

From the control room to the depot floor

Railway Depot combines management interfaces with a real-time 3D environment.

Monitor the wider network from the control desk, then enter the depot itself to inspect trains, observe staff activity and follow operations directly.

The goal is not simply to make trains move.

It is to make the railway work.

Development Status

Railway Depot is currently in Pre-Alpha development.

The user interface, graphics, rolling stock, environments, gameplay systems and other content shown on this page are work in progress and may change significantly during development.
