UnMissable Elder Scrolls
One of the single greatest games pf all time.
The autumn sale has begun and seeing the price of Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, a post of this nature had to be made.
Skyrim is often on sale, for very good prices, but getting it this cheap is a sale that no one should miss. I bought a tub of ice cream for this price, which will melt in an hour, and be eaten quicker. This game was released on 11/11/11, and stands firmly as the greatest game to return to over and over and over again. I poured in another 50 hours in the last year, just exploring to try and read all the awesome stories that are buried in crypts and dungeons.
This is a title that you can mod so much that it becomes a whole new game if you really wanted to. There is something so incredible about the way that Bethesda has implemented the modding community to become a part of the game itself. Huge amounts of respect for the developers on that front, especially with the gaming climate nowadays.
The first experience that I had with Skyrim was probably back in 2012, watching a friend pickpocket and then mess up and get hunted by the entire town, something so enjoyable about watching a friend struggle to win a fight against a cow and a blacksmith. Once I got a copy of the game for myself onto my PlayStation 3, I missed the whole main story and wondered the hills for hours, doing unmarked side content, realizing that they intended that experience to also be part of the main intended experience.
An absolute masterclass.
