The game takes place in a rural town located on the frontier of a small kingdom. In the depths of the dense woodlands that extend over this land, it is said that there exists a “Golden Forest” where the trees produce gold. Many adventurers have sought out this huge fortune, but none have yet found it, and the area has since become completely deserted. Disgaea 5: Alliance of Vengeance is a tactical role-playing video game. The evil demon emperor Void Dark devastates numerous Netherworlds after coming to power, with the help of an army of over one million soldiers known as The Lost. Following this, the Overlords of the Netherworlds under Void Dark's rule attempt to rise up and take revenge. The game involves the player traveling across different Netherworlds in an attempt to bring the Overlords and heirs of each different world to join forces together to fight against Void Dark. The game will feature new systems not seen within prior titles in the Disgaea series. In addition, the number of characters displayable on-screen has increased to 100, compared to 10 characters on the earlier PlayStation 3 titles.

Disgaea: Hour of Darkness is a tactical role-playing video game and the first game in the Disgaea series. Battle gameplay takes place on a map divided into a square grid. The player controls a squad of humanoid units and monsters, which each occupy a single square of the grid and do combat with a group of enemies. Depending on the character and attack selected, the player will be able to deal damage to a specific enemy unit or a designated region of the map. Combat ends when all enemy units or all of the player's units are destroyed.

Disgaea 2: Cursed Memories is a tactical role-playing game and the sequel to Disgaea: Hour of Darkness. It was re-released for the PlayStation Portable as Disgaea 2 Portable in Japan and as Disgaea 2: Dark Hero Days in North America and Europe. Fifteen years ago, a powerful Overlord by the name of Zenon appeared in Veldime and cursed its human population. Since then, all its inhabitants have become demons and are to remain that way if the curse was not broken. However, a young man named Adell was the only human unaffected by the curse. Wanting to save his family and return them back to their true form, Adell decides to seek out Overlord Zenon and defeat him. The gameplay in Disgaea 2 builds directly upon that of Disgaea: Hour of Darkness; players control a party of characters to do battle on a 3D isometric grid map.

Criminal Girls 2 is an upcoming Japanese role-playing game. It is described as a "girl punishing RPG" by its publisher. The player is given the role of a warden in hell and is put in charge of a party consisting of female convicts who have been given a second chance. However, these girls might not always listen to the player's commands and it is up to the player to discipline the girls.

A bundle containing Shin Hayarigami 1 and 2 for Nintendo Switch. The Shin Hayarigami games are violent detective visual novels where the player must investigate multiple murder cases using the games unique logic and investigation systems to survive and find the killers. Originally released on PlayStation systems, in 2014 and 2016, the games were given the CERO rating Z, equivalent to the ERSB's M and AO ratings, for their violent visuals and story. This doesn't appear to have been changed for the Nintendo Switch release.

Pieces are supplied to each player in a specific order, and there are also power-ups that can be used to hinder the other player.
