Xseed Games published the game in North America on September 29, 2009.

Senjou no Valkyria 3: Unrecorded Chronicles, usually referred to as Valkyria Chronicles III, is a tactical role-playing game developed and published by Sega for the PlayStation Portable. It is the third game in the Valkyria Chronicles series and was released on January 27, 2011 exclusively in Japan. An expanded version of the game, subtitled Extra Edition was released in Japan on November 23, 2011. The game features an opening song Moshimo Kimi ga Negau no nara sung by Japanese singer May'n. Occurring in the same time frame as the first game, Valkyria Chronicles III is a side story that follows the exploits of an unwanted and castigated Gallian Army squad during the Imperial invasion of 1935.[3] Contrasting the previous games' bright outlook and recognition for their protagonists, Valkyria Chronicles III explores the themes of being outcast and the search for redemption. As described by its catchphrase, the game tells "The tale of nameless soldiers who, on the verge of despair, changed history." The game was the first in the series to not officially be translated into English by Sega. However, an unofficial fan translation for the Extra Edition was eventually released in December 2013. The object of interest in this game is the mysterious Valkiry Stone. Two treasure hunters, Axel and Ruka, set out to find the stone, but the evil gang known as the Pumpkin Heads wants to find the stone first. As either Axel or Ruka, blast your way through six side-scrolling levels against hordes of enemies, facing off against several bosses in each level. You can select from four different weapon effects (normal, bouncing, homing and flamethrower), use smartbombs and a grappling hook.

Crime Crackers is a a first-person action shooting game. The player controls the Pink Dolphin team as they explore each area, defeating enemies and collecting useful items. Combat is real-time, but the player must switch into attack mode in order to attack enemies. This gives the player an aiming cursor, but reduces movement to only left and right strafing. To make up for reduced mobility the player can also block incoming attacks. Each stage culminates in a boss fight at the end, and between stages there are short dialogue scenes that drive the story, as well as an opportunity to buy and sell items.
