The Adventures of Bayou Billy is an action game released by Konami for the Nintendo Entertainment System in North America in 1989. It is a revised version of the 1988 Family Computer game Mad City. The game employs various play styles that were popular at the time such as beat-'em-up, gun shooting and racing. The majority of the game follows a beat-'em-up format in which the player character (Billy) must engage in hand-to-hand combat against every enemy he encounters in order proceed from one area to the next until reaching the end of each stage before his health runs out. Billy's basic attacks consists of a punch, a kick and a jump kick performed by pressing the A and B buttons simultaneously. The player can also arm Billy with one of three melee weapons dropped by certain enemies: a throwing knife, a club and a whip.

The songs from completeMIX 2 were downgraded in difficulty section, HARD charts became NORMAL charts and ANOTHER charts became HARD charts. No changes was made to the charts themselves. The new ANOTHER charts added to the game were not ranked, even though completeMIX 2 started ranking ANOTHER charts. beatmania clubMIX is a release where the focus is to have as much licensed club songs as possible. Therefore, only 10 Konami made songs from beatmania completeMIX 2 return in the game, with 7 new original songs made for the game. The remaining 14 songs are all licensed songs. Total amount of songs in the game is 31.

Difficulty levels were rearranged on a scale from 1 to 9, which remains as the standard for the rest of the series. Many older songs have new ANOTHER difficulty charts, some have a rearranged charts for their ANOTHER charts, making use of the preexisting assets to make a new sounding song. The HARD version charts from 5thMIX became ANOTHER charts in this version. The modifier CENTER PLAY has been added, making it possible to use the 2 player keys and 1 player turntable, for scratching with the left hand. HI-SPEED has been expanded with 2x-4x selection. beatmania completeMIX 2 is a compilation mix containing most of the songs from beatmania 4thMIX and beatmania 5thMIX (45 songs). 12 songs were lifted over from beatmania - beatmania 3rdMIX and 23 new songs were introduced. The total song list is 80 songs.

When the bars reach the judgement line it is time to scratch. 7thMIX allow the player to have separate lanes for the two black keys. Instead of in between the lanes of the white keys. This makes the lanes much closer to the beatmania IIDX series. 1-Turn scratches are introduces, where you need to turn the turntable exactly once to get the best score. MANIAC has been renamed back to ANOTHER again. All singles and double charts has been re-rated and for the first time in the series the rate for the single chart and the double chart are rated separately. The game has 27 songs returning from 6thMIX and introduced an additional 32 songs for a total of 59 songs.
