Diner Dash: Sizzle & Serve

Diner Dash: Sizzle & Serve

Climax Studios, PlayFirst, GameLab, Eidos Interactive

Welcome to Diner Dash, the action-puzzle that brings out the entrepreneur in all of us! Poor Flo! Sick and tired of pushing paper in the dreary, bleary-eyed world of finance, she ditched her desk job and now she's rolling up her sleeves and setting out to build her very own empire of high-class, five-star restaurants. It won't be easy, though! Flo's on her own now, and heading for the top! To get there she'll have to start on the ground floor—and she needs your help to survive and thrive. Diner Dash blends the best in fast paced-action puzzles with a build-your-restaurant-empire theme that encourages players to serve their way from a two-table diner to the top of the restaurant ladder – starting with a run-of-the-mill greasy spoon and ending in a dream restaurant.

Broken Covenant

Broken Covenant

Climax Studios, Konami

In the year 2006, Climax LA started working on yet another tentative Silent Hill title exclusively for the PlayStation 3 using the Unreal 3 engine. After the project was declined by Konami it was converted into a stand-alone survival-horror title Broken Covenant. The game was supposed to take place in the American Soutwest where Alessa's powers and corruption began to spread outside of Silent Hill. A splinter group of Silent Hill cult relocated its operations to an abandoned military base just outside Coyote Flats, Arizona continuing pursuing their main goal of conjuring Samael. Players would assume the role of Father Hector Santos, an El Paso, Texas priest in desperate search of his nine-year-old niece, Anna who has been handed over to the Cult as a conduit for demonic rituals as they believe she might be the next Alessa. Broken Covenant was supposed to be published in episodic format. After it failed to seek any interest from other publishers it was shelved for good. (Source: silenthillmemories)

Overlord: Minions

Overlord: Minions

Climax Studios, Codemasters

Meet Giblet, Blaze, Stench, and Zap - an elite Minion crew who, assisted by minion master Gnarl, get star billing in Overlord Minions, an irresistible and accessible puzzle action game, designed exclusively for Nintendo DS. In Overlord Minions, the Overlord commands the Minion team remotely. The Nintendo DS stylus becomes an extension of his evil will and every precise Touch Screen command is the player-as-Overlord directing, commanding and combining minions in battle, pointing and sweeping them to attack enemies and solving puzzles to execute his dastardly plans. Controlling the Special Farces team of four, players negotiate fiendish levels and take on a huge range of warped enemies to hunt down the Kindred, a cult dedicated to resurrecting the mighty Dragon Kin, a race of humanoid dragon hybrids, determined to replace the Overlord's despotism with their own. Extending the Overlord series' trademark humour, gameplay focuses on the mischievous physical comedy of the minion's antics and is delivered in a stylised cartoon visual style.

Silent Hill: Shattered Memories

Silent Hill: Shattered Memories

Climax Studios, Konami

Silent Hill: Shattered Memories is the seventh installment in the Silent Hill survival horror series, and a stand-alone reimagining of the original Silent Hill video game. Once again, you will cast Harry Mason searching across the haunted town for his missing daughter Cheryl. Through his exploration, Harry will come across objects and recordings that tell some of the history of Silent Hill. New to the series are a depiction of Silent Hill's demonic alter-dimension as a world of ice, and the removal of weapons from the game: when the monsters come out, Harry must literally run for his life. Between scenes, the game will cut to a psychiatrist's office, who asks personal questions about Harry and his past experiences. The game will then alter itself based on the player's responses, changing characters and lines of dialog to something intended to be more personally uncomfortable.
