Dr. Mario Online Rx

Dr. Mario Online Rx

Arika, Nintendo

The all-time puzzle classic returns for the Wii generation, featuring online gameplay and a new Germ Buster mode! Destroy all the viruses trapped in the bottle by dropping and slotting capsules to create lines of matching colours. The more viruses you clear, the faster the capsules drop. In Dr. Mario, challenge the computer in 1 Player mode, go head-to-head with a friend in 2 Player mode, or prove your skills against the world via Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. You can also send a demo version of the game to a friend (within your region) using WiiConnect24. In Germ Buster (based on the relaxation game in More Brain Training from Dr Kawashima), up to four players can use their Wii Remotes to grab, spin and slot capsules as your Miis try to keep the nasty bugs at bay. Who thought that catching germs could be so much fun?

Pac-Man 99: Deluxe Pack

Pac-Man 99: Deluxe Pack

Arika, Bandai Namco Entertainment

Mode Unlock The Mode Unlock DLC added the following offline game modes to Pac-Man 99: CPU Battle allows the player to play the regular PAC-MAN 99 mode against computer-controlled players. The computer player difficulty, starting speed and badges can be configured before playing. Score Attack tasks the player to achieve a total of 3,333,360 points with three extra lives supplied during play. Blind Time Attack gives the player a starting time limit of 1 minute and 30 seconds to eat twelve fruits. Time can be extended by scoring enough points before eating the bonus fruit, however extra time will decrease if Pac-Man is caught. The ability to create private matches for the regular Pac-Man 99 mode was also added, though this feature was disabled following the shutdown of the game’s servers on October 8, 2023.

Technic Beat

Technic Beat

Arika, Mastiff

This is a game where you have to use your sense of rhythm to pass the levels with 85 different songs. You walk around on a little stage with your character. As the music plays, markers pop up on the stage that expand in sync with the music. You have to hit those markers at the right time. This will trigger an instrument or jingle of the music (and give you points). Each characters has special abilities - some of them for example can move the markers to get them closer (or out of reach of the opponents). All characters can use a pitch-bend to change the tone of a triggered jingle for extra fun. Apart from having several game modes, you can also play this game solo or with a friend, either cooperative or in a battle mode to see who's got a better sense of rhythm.

"Tetris: The Grand Master 4 - The Masters of Round" is an unreleased arcade sequel to the TGM series created by Arika. The features and content planned for this game would later be reworked as the basis for "Tetris: The Grand Master 4 - Absolute Eye," a Windows PC game set to release on Steam in early 2025. The arcade game was announced in 2009 by Arika vice president Ichiro Mihara, and unveiled at Sega's Amusement Machine Show the same year. It was exhibited again at public location tests in 2015 under a working title of "The Grand Master," omitting "Tetris" from the name due to lack of an active license. The game's initially planned arcade release was in limbo for over a decade, citing various problems reaching an agreement with publishers or The Tetris Company. Arika eventually secured a license for a home PC release after meeting a pre-condition of successful sales figures for the Switch and PlayStation 4 ports of "Tetris: The Grand Master" and "Tetris: The Absolute - The Grand Master 2 Plus."
