Steam is Testing a New Achievement "Sets" Feature for Those Completionists!
And it's about damn time!

Ever owned a game you spent too much time on to 100% the achievements it challenged you to do if you could? The feeling of getting that one last achievement to pop up and fill you with a split second of bliss?
Now, have you had a game you conquered and put back in your library defeated only to have a new DLC or update to come out and take away that 100% feeling because of added achievements?

As someone who has TOO MANY GAMES and has had a few hundred percent games get revoked because of new updates, DLC or even having multiplayer added to the game with its own achievements I don't even want to do.

Steam is finally testing "sets" in their beta that allows developers to SET their achievements in sets like single-player, multiplayer, and eight other class-based sets.
This means if a DEV releases a game with a set amount of achievements, releases an update or DLC, they can create another set of achievements outside the main released achievements.

With this change also comes a new achievement page which will show off what sets of achievements you have completed as well what you need to still complete per set if you want to tackle them all.

With this organization, I know a few completionists that will really like this beta test of steam!
Now if you want to try these new sets out, you will need to join the Steam Client Beta!
