Birds of WarReally enjoyed it
Birds of War is an idea that I’m surprised took this long to be created by someone. In fact, the game itself is developed by a team of just three people, which is impressive, especially with the amount of unlocks available and the already released extra three birds that came out in the most recent update in August. This is the type of game you can boot up for an evening, hook up with a couple buds or on your own, and have a great time perfecting your team’s strategies as different winged warriors.

Fright TrainReally enjoyed it
Fright Train takes a few well-defined gameplay decisions, designs its game world around them, and then fills it in with a creative story and characters while providing a satisfyingly increasing difficulty curve. Once I appreciated the vision behind Fright Train and how to excel within its gameplay loop, it all clicked and I felt myself having a really fun time within its cold cabin confines. Though the onboarding process may be a bit jarring, once Fright Train starts chugging along, its momentum of engaging combat, storytelling, and progression makes it hard to stop playing.
